Taking a stand
Saxen’s green philosophy reaches every part of the business. Our commitment to net-zero influences every project, reflecting a deep commitment to sustainability.
The Saxen team know that
environmental responsibility and good design aren’t mutually exclusive, and that the principle of 'less is more' is more important than ever. By using renewable materials,
manufacturing locally, and designing a reconfigurable stand that slots together without the need for environmentally unfriendly adhesives or plastic fixtures, we have created an ethically sound display with a significant visual impact, rather than an environmental one.

In a world where resources should be protected with restrained use of materials and energy, innovative design is no longer a choice – it’s a necessity. This agile stand has been designed by our in-house creative team, initially for a 2 by 2 metre footprint to promote Saxen’s newly launched RefurbHub. It has already entered its second iteration for its permanent home in Il Salotto, increasing to a 4 by 2 metre installation.
The concept focuses on creating a stand that can be easily added to, reconfigured, and relocated as needed without the need for any tools. Its components can easily be switched to adapt to new product displays, helping make this stand useful for years to come. The shelf display is constructed from movable pegs that can be adjusted to display replacement furniture components, while the tic-tac-toe panel promotes interaction with the tactile birch ply.
Saxen is committed to innovation in the commercial interiors sector, and we know this transformation begins internally. By driving creativity and environmental responsibility, we aim to set a benchmark for uncompromising sustainability that resonates throughout the industry.
