The six-story neo-Egyptian warehouse that hosts the Il Salotto display space was designed by Campbell, Reid, and Wingate between 1914 and 1921. Its polished red sandstone façade, marked by channelled pilasters, conveys a sense of grandeur. The first four floors feature recessed windows framed by Egyptian-style pillars and balcony-like entablatures.
This bright, creative space is the perfect base for Saxen's new Glasgow hub.
